Mr. Peters’ professional career began in 1978 when he designed two award winning pre-engineered steel buildings while still studying Architecture at the University of Detroit. Since then, Mr. Peters has applied his problem solving skills to all phases of architectural practice, including programming, site planning, building design, design development, construction documents, specification writing, construction observation, consultant coordination, and coordination with city officials, as well as project management and scheduling.
After establishing his own practice in 1988, Mr. Peters completed nearly 250 design commissions. His experience includes a wide variety of building and project types such as office buildings, training facilities, retail centers, child care facilities, production, warehousing and shipping facilities for both large and small industrial users, banks, speculative office and industrial projects, hotels, restaurants and food service facilities, multi-family housing, automotive facilities, renovations and tenant improvements, as well as zoning cases and master planning.
Mr. Peters’ design talent, project experience, organizational abilities, and management skills comprise the ideal combination to lead the design/construction team effort.
