Structural Engineer (PE/SE)

Epic Engineering, a full-service architecture and engineering firm with 20+ years of professional experience, has a full-time opening for a licensed engineer (PE/SE) with a wide range of experience in working with various structural components for existing and new structural projects including multiple story commercial buildings.

You will have the opportunity to work with our tremendous Structural Engineering team and be an integral part in the success of the department.

Experience with Revit, and structural software such as Enercalc and RISA, as well as with writing custom Excel spreadsheets are a must. Experience working with and training a team of engineers is preferred.

Your abilities should include:

  • Ability to perform calculations and design for structural projects
  • Assure design quality and functionality
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

This position requires knowledge of applicable federal, state and local building codes and safety laws. Work requires advanced math skills, special relationship abilities, and the ability to understand problems and have good engineering judgment and communication skills.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) and having a PE or SE license in UT or the ability to obtain a UT PE/SE license via comity.

Experience: 2-7 years of related experience preferred.

Salary: $70,000 - $115,000 depending on qualifications and experience
