Epic Engineering’s Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering teams modeled the 265-square-mile drainage basin tributary to the proposed Bobcat bridge and channel crossing in Williams County, North Dakota. Flood modeling included the evaluation of probabilities of maximum flood events, flooding from ice accumulation, spring thaw runoff conditions and historically metered flows. Once properly modeled, our design team designed the bridge and the controlled discharge reservoir.
