Epic Engineering provided design and system optimization for Lake Creek Irrigation Company in Heber Valley. Our engineers designed canal diversions and pump stations to accommodate for growing development in an historically agricultural part of the valley. The canal diversion included 3 miles of 24-inch and 16-inch pipeline. The system included PRVs to allow for high spring water flows to feed low-pressure zones, pumps optimized for peak efficiency, and a future hydropower option. We also provided construction management for the project. Our experts successfully obtained a grant from the UDWR to fund the project.
